Data processed

The site has no user accounts. The only personal data processed is that provided by anyone who makes an enquiry, through the site’s form or by email: their name, their email address and the content of the message. The form stores nothing on the site: it delivers the message to the controller’s mailbox. To prevent automated submissions, on sending it checks that the request comes from a real browser through an invisible verification by the hosting provider (Vercel BotID), which analyses technical browser signals without identifying anyone, and it limits the number of submissions per IP address, which is not retained.

Visit statistics are also compiled with Vercel Web Analytics, a tool that uses no cookies and stores nothing on the device. For each visit it records the page viewed, the referring page, the approximate location (country, region and city), the browser, the operating system and the type of device. One visit is told apart from another by an anonymous code generated from the request and discarded after 24 hours. The statistics are not linked to any person or IP address, and do not allow browsing on other sites to be followed.

Purpose and legal basis

Enquiry data is used solely to answer it and, where applicable, to manage the acquisition of a work. The legal basis is the taking of steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, otherwise, the consent given by writing (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). No marketing communications are sent and no profiling is carried out.

Visit statistics serve only to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Their legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in that understanding (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Retention

Messages are kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry. If a purchase is concluded, the related data is kept for the periods required by tax and commercial law. Visit statistics contain no data that identifies anyone.

Recipients

Data is not disclosed to third parties, except where required by law. The provider of the site’s hosting and of the statistics tool (Vercel Inc., United States, which logs technical connection data such as the IP address) and the email provider act as data processors. Any international transfers involved are covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Rights

Anyone may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw their consent at any time, by writing to info@alfredohuerta.com.

Anyone who considers that their data is not being handled properly may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Cookies and local storage

This site uses no first-party or third-party cookies, not even for visit statistics. It only stores in the browser technical data about navigation between pages (the order in which the catalogue is browsed), which identifies no one, is not sent to any server and is exempt from consent as it is necessary to provide the service.
